As Foxy has explained Kursk concentrates on the actions of the Panzer Divisions so the horse drawn artillery of the Germany Infantry Divisions would play little part.
Besides that we did look into producing models of them but this is extremely difficult to do (To many moving parts for low poly models). Making 2d sprites is possible, which we have also considered for Cossack units, but they would take alot of resource time to develop and would only be used once or twice in the whole campaign. Thus we decided to concentrate our efforts elsewhere.
Maybe for BK 2 ;D

Here are a few more screen shots of new units. Firstly another addition to the Germans in the form of the Pz II ausf L "Luchs". http://www.activegaming.org\Project Kursk\images\Recce.jpg[/img] http://www.activegaming.org\Project Kursk\images\Luch in action.jpg[/img] Then comes the first of the Russian new units a T 60 light tank. A forerunner to the T 70 but armed with a 20mm cannon. http://www.activegaming.org\Project Kursk\images\T60 with Pz IV_2.jpg[/img] In the above picture you have the T 60 facing off with a Pz IV with skirt armour and AA MG. Hi - Interesting to see the Goliath on the unit list. In the campaign will this vehicle actually clear mines?

That was the original plan but so far it seems you can't destroy mines with area blasts, something maybe hardcoded into the engine that makes it mines can only be removed if you step on them or get them cleared by sappers. Unless someone has an idea about it? Anyway the Goliaths will also be used to destroy bunkers & possibly even AT guns, so they'll certainly come in as handy!

A few more screen shots showing German SPAA and Marders SPAT. The Sdkfz 7/2 and Sdkfz 10/4 will now give some added punch to the German Air Defence. A Sigg 33 Pz 38(t) "Grille" can be seen in the background. Three versions of Marders will be taking to the field; Marder II, Marder III ausf H and Marder III ausf M. http://www.activegaming.org\Project Kursk\images\Germans AA.jpg[/img] http://www.activegaming.org\Project Kursk\images\Marders Advancing.jpg[/img] http://www.activegaming.org\Project Kursk\images\Marders Defending.jpg[/img] Adrian

Nice screens! The new textures and terrain make a big difference to the look and feel of the game (as with Stalingrad). Good to see the Marders making an appearance as well. Pity they weren't included in Blitzkrieg in the first place.

We will have some shots of new German half tracks next, hopefully followed by new artillery and Russian Aircraft.

Looks absolutely outstanding - very impressive! Do you have a projected release date for Kursk in mind?

Those are some great screens. I like the look of the crews inside the vehicles, they look very wholesome. Marders are a very worthy addition.

Pz V Panthers will be in game, but we will simply use the original Blitzkrieg model (retextured, of course).
The Flak 30 is also in game, you can already see the self-propelled version on one of the screens above (SdKfz 7/2). We also have the towed version in the works.

are we going to see Pz III ausf M version with skirts in this mod? i noticed that many people in thier mods include captured russian tanks, but what about german captured tanks i am sure that russian use many of them especuialy those that where captured during german ofensive on Moscow it would be nice to see some of them in this mod(early Pz III and Pz -IV).i even have informatiuon about soviet using captured Panthers but this is for some other time and other mod.
