Glad to hear that you like the Demo. Actually you don't ned to run the RTV Mod with the Ostfront_Demo as most of the changes made by the RTV team are in Ostfront.

Oh ok.. i thought it was better with that mod too, thx then, and a question if i may (hope it was not already asked .. =) The thing i really dont like in this game is artillery killing tanks... its not at all likely that u can do that... iveread some british intelligent report during ww2 and statistic said its more likely to be killed (with a tank) even by friendly fire that from enemy artillery... and its logical.. artillery bullets are way too slow to have any chance to pierce armors... this is why u dont fire high explosive shells vs armors but piercing rounds isnt it? So the question is did u lowered artillery damage vs armor? =) Thx and sorry again for my question =)

In answer to your question, yes I did. However, saying that most artillery pieces did have APHE or HEAT rounds for engaging armour over open sights (Direct fire).
But, in general, armour is less likely to be destroyed by in-direct HE rounds becaue they are less accurate, don't fire as quickly and do not penetrate armour as well.

Hi Adrian,
My name is Pz and I have been playing BK for about one year.
6 months ago I started working iLeet_PeeP and Wolfseven on the Unofficial blitzkrieg patch 1.3
As leet was doing most of the work we were unable to stop leets vision of his new fix to correct the major problem in blitzkrieg. His version of the patch seemed much more playable and far more stable so we continued to test and bounce ideas around to help keep the game fair and try for more realism. Alot of ideas during our testing were great but leet didnt like them or didnt know how to fix them. Any way one day he has had enough and deletes all the work, and quits on the group.
so I decided somebody else had to pick up the ball and since i had saved all version of ileets test patches. We began dissecting the patch and comparing to the info in the data.pak Slowly but surely we figured out the changes and with help from yourself. iLeeT and others we figured out how to mod this thing.
Many xml files edited by ileet promoted major biases against the germans and other guns messed up beyond belief. Still yet tigers and king tigers vision impaired so they were outranged when no spotter around. Also dispersion ranges increased as to make some weapons useless.
Our mod is almost completely changed from ileets visions and NATO's test team deserves all the credit.

Hi all,
I'm the Boegata and I've been both a computer and table top wargammer for about 10 years or so. As for my love of being a Cybertop General, that got started with Panzer General. Moved on to Panzer General II which was a definate improvement over the first game and have been hooked on World War II stratigy computer games every since.

Panzer General II is GREAT! Every once in a while I still play it, but it doesn't hold the same appeal now that it did back in the day. Still, it was really a great game. I'm Matt Powers by the way I don't post too often here or on the BK forums, just when people get in arguments over whether or not OSTFront should be free or not! Take care everyone, and thanks for the mod!
