Hi. Haven't been around in a while so I thought I'd say hello and congratulate you on your mod.
I've enjoyed playing it very much.
I've noticed on some of your tanks you've given them 120 sight and 3 sight power. What exactly does this do? Does it triple the sight range or what? How does sight power effect sighting range?
Thanks for the look.
Ciao, John

Sight power 3 actually reduces the sighting ability of the unit to spot stationery/camo'ed units. Thus a tank has a high sighting range due to sighting optics but has a low ability to sight hidden units such as infantry and small a/t guns.

Thanks for the quick answer.
Ah, so 1 would be normal sight all-around?
What about a sight power of 0.5? What effect would this have on a units sighting ability?
Sorry for so many questions. Just trying to understand the inner workings of the numerical sighting system.
Thanks.

Indeed 1 is the normal sight power value, with a reasonable chance to uncover ambushed units at a distance.
0.5 in sight power makes it so you have a high chance to uncover ambushed units at maximum sight distance. It's the Nival default for all recon vehicles BTW.
