Hello As written in the title of the topic, I have to face another problem, while playing mission 3 south campain. It is asked to find 2 points to cross the river near a village (east and west of it). Instead of a frontal attack using fog gas to cover my troops, I went trough the little forest on the east of the map (near the edge and near the fortified farm) and then attacked from east to west. I "cleaned" all this zone near the river and the two points, but the objectives are not cleared ! Did I miss something Tank you for your answers

Have you also passed the two furts with troops and are you 100% sure you have not left russians somewhere? There was never a problem reported regarding these two objectives. And what about the village of Syrtsev itself. Have you concoured it completely?

hello Blitzkrieg and the add-ons are great games for sure, but they all suffer from the same problem sometimes : when enemy troops are left near an objective, this one doesn't clear... I think as you said that, effectively, some russians must be left somewhere near the village, but where ? that's is the question, and the problem... While i was attacking the village near the 2 objectives, I saw 2 T-34 and other troops escaping...Perhaps this make the 2 objectives not cleared

Another question. Do you not have additional objective at the moment. You know, Kursk has a huge amount of objectives for each single mission, but it is often not necessary to clear them all. Try to go on with the mission and sometimes problems disappear. For me it worked often.
Hope it works for you too because the game it worth to go on.

hello zit
to answer your question : no I haven't any other objective at this point of the mission. Only these two objectives, near the village and the river to cross...
I often do like you : I keep going on in one mission even if some objectives are not cleared and most of times everything ends in a good way. But I wonder if this time , it will not cause a problem in script... I would like to know the opinion of someone from active gaming...

Hi Smithkline,
As Zitadelle pointed out, you need to clear the area around the two fords for the objective to complete. There maybe a at rifle team hiding in the rushes around the rivers edge, so suggest you do another sweep.

I don't know what to do !!! I tried to look near the river as you told me but there are no russians left there... I have cleared the whole map I think... The only thing i see is russians prisoners in the village near the 2 objectives...But I can't select them, I can't kill them...It's like they were not there... Is there a way to know where the enemy is by writing something in the console And what is it to be done exactly to clear the objectives : use fog gas and make infantry or panzers cross the river, or kill all the enemies in this aera. I don't know if it's bug, but it seems that sometimes my units don't see the enemy... I need your help please...

The only thing i see is russians prisoners in the village near the 2 objectives...But I can't select them, I can't kill them...It's like they were not there... This means you have not killed all active Russian troops by the fords or in the village of Syrtsev. The Russian prisoners are scripted to remain neutral (can't control them) while Russian troops remain close by. Once you are able to select them then the fords and Syrtsev will be clear and you will get new objectives. Check both sides of the river. As you attacked from the east you may have missed the ATR teams. Make sure you search with infantry and not armoured units alone. Adrian Taylor ACTive Gaming

Hi I think my game "mission kursk" must have a problem As you told me, I looked for russians near the river, accurately, with infantry but didn't manage to find them... Perhaps one day, I will restart this mission from the beginning but this time, I used the "end game cheat" because I wanted to go forward in the campain... bye

I think you need to check inside the haystack or "rick, large" as it's called.
Also, a pesky sniper loves to hide in the little wood shed, i often took some time to find those horrible enemies hiding. ;D

Yes the Haystack does not show any enemy or your troops for that matter Inside, and as Bogan and others point out, you have to check all the buildings, clean sweep mate.
Think on it as real, then, this gets as real for a game. ;D
Good luck.
