Hi, I thought with patch 1.4 the use of th editor with kursk units would be more easy, but I don't see any advantage. I still have to handle with 2 mod files, one for the editor and one for the game. Any solutions? greets Stauffenberg

Hi Stauffenberg,
Not sure what you mean? The only advantage you gain with 1.4 is that you can access the new Kursk units, terrain and objects to create maps of your own.
You will need to stipulate these maps for use with Misison Kursk unless you manually move files around and modify them for use with the original Blitzkrieg game.

Hi Adrian,
well i try to explain it in a different way ;D - before patch 1.4 the way to develop custom maps with kursk units was to edit the mod.xml in a special way (found it in another forum) and save this as a backup. For playing this custom (or a standard kursk) map i had to switch to the "original" mod.xml file. My expectation was that this file-"sharing" would come to an end. (hope i have described it better this time)

Yes it should, there should be no need to manually swap the mod file.
What will happen if you open some of the existing scenario's the EDITOR will ask you to change map mod to Kursk 1.4. However, if you create your own maps they will automatically be created as Kursk 1.4.
