Model’s 9th Army Northern Pincer Campaign
Chapter 1 (XL) : Breaching the Line
Scenario: 5th July. 20th Pz Div must breach the 1st Russian defensive line held by 15th Rifle Div. Player will start with a core force consisting of Pz II, III & IV short. Numerous secondary objectives will offer the player to take prisoners while breaching the 3 defensive line and find and destroy hidden OP towers.
Chapter 2 (L): A Spear in the Flank
Scenario: 6th July. 2nd Pz Div takes over the thrust towards the Olkhovatka heights from 20th Pz Div. While advancing on Kashara, they are attacked on the right flank by the 16th Tank Corps (100 T-34 & T-70). The attack was repulsed, thanks in part by the Tigers of s. Abt 505. Player will have to save the Tiger coy from a minefield where they are stranded prior to using them. 2nd Pz Div tried to progress towards the Olkhovatka heights by pushing on to Kashara, but was eventually repulsed.
Chapter 3 (XL): A Tough Climb
Scenario: 7-8th July. After its 1st failure to seize the Olkhovatka heights, Model concentrated his armor to try and seize that vital ridge line. 2nd Pz Div spearheaded again the assault. After taking Kashara, 2nd Pz Divs supported by 6th Inf Div tried to get a foothold on the Olkhovatka heights, attacking hill 257, but never managed to actually hold the hilltop. Trying to resume the offensive further west, they never got beyond the foot of hill 274.
Chapter 4 (L): The Last Push to the South
Scenario: 8th July. After failing to capture the Olkhovatka heights, Model tried to breach the 2nd Russian defensive line further west on the Samodurovka – Teploe axis, trying to exploit intel suggesting a weak link there between 70th & 13th Rus Armies. 20th Pz Div, reinforced by 4th Pz Div, spearheads the assault. After seizing Samodurovka and its bridge across the Usozha tributary, the 2 Divs proceeded in taking hill 240 east of Teploe & the village itself. They were eventually repulsed trying to take the high ground south of Teploe.

Chapter 5 (M): The Rush to Ponyri
Scenario: 5th July. 86th Inf Div, backed up by elements of 18th Pz Div & the Ferdinands of 653 AT det, breached the 1st defensive line held by 81st Rifle Div. Player can use Goliaths for the 1st & only time to breach the 1st minefields. The advance in this sector went fairly well up to the outskirts of Ponyri in the 1st day, despite a counter-attack of 129th Tank Brig & 1442nd S-P regt . Player will get Goliaths at the start of the scenario to help him breach the 1st line of defense.

Chapter 6 (L): The Stalingrad of Kursk
Scenario: 6-9th July. 292nd & 86th Inf Divs, backed up by elements of 18th Pz Div & the Ferdinands of 653rd AT det, reached the outskirts of Ponyri, anchoring the 2nd Russian defensive line, & exhausted themselves trying to take the whole town defending by 307th Rifle Div. Pretty much a see-saw battle with a few hallmarks like the school, the railway station, the tractor factory and the water tower. Russian S-P regts were present in the sector, as well as 51st & 103rd Tank Brigs.
