now i know it is not ACTive Gaming's fault, but i gotta say that aggressive movement in Blitzkrieg makes me want to do Elvis like on my monitor. and i noticed the lazy programming that was done as far as pathfinding goes. (why do my units bottleneck themselves behind wrecks, for instance) but yeah i'm attacking Komsomolets State Farm and all i want to do is blast the place to bits from long range, but sigh....
anyway i'm signing off and might give it another go

Well yep of course you are right but please keep also in mind, that Kursk is the most advanced Adon so far and for gamers with now 2 years experiences of Blitzkrieg. Therefore it´s right balanced.

well i love the addons. i just meant that the original game coding is irritating. something that shows up in Kursk alot. the units don't listen. as soon as an enemy is visual, it seems every unit races over like a pack of dogs. this can be frustrating when you want a clear line and axis of advance and suddenly there's an entrenched enemy on your flank. The game engine's response is to break off the main advance and swarm the position. or rolling into minefields that have already been detected makes me want to pull my hair out. sometimes it isn't enough to order a unit to stand its ground.
i'm not knocking the addons. i love them. i'm just venting :\

Jay
Try using the HOLD GROUND button.
I have my finger hovering over the shift key at all times. When i order a unit to move somewhere, i hold shift and order it to hold ground on arrival.
This works perfectly for AA units and all other units. They won't move an inch.

I use the hold ground button as well - it works like a charm.

There you go, three in one. Allways something to counter the other.

Plus when you get the 1.4 patch, you will find the mobile AA behave better and more controlable.
