How do i get my soldiers in russian uniforms in the house with sappers? I always fail on this objective. when i come close to the town i get pinned down with arty and then they open fire from AT guns when im close enough. Nex is message you failed and then the next objective that i have to take the south east side of town with my units and try to prevent that they blow up the bridge. Did anyone manage to take your soldiers in russian uniforms in that house? What do u have to do to achieve that?

Hi Tedo,

Have you tried approaching with your disguised troops in "march" formation? This should get you close enough for a dash towards the sapper building.

Hi Adrian!

I always approach in march formation but they just open fire on me. I've found something new. Twhen i put one squad in my armored transporter i can drive them just to the house. Then i let them in and they kill just one guy, after a time the secong and then it says objective failed. I dont know what else to do to pass this objective.

Maybe best put Inf Squad in first, then prisoners.

I remember this mission very well because the heavy counter attacks were something, in fact it was one of my favourite missions. But have to say, it is not necessary to fulfil this objective. Honestly i was more for the real challenge and conquered the complete village. Don’t know if is was scripted to get the prisoners to capture the bridge. When i received the objective i was rolling to the north to break enemy resistance there and later i heard failed objective but it never influenced the rest of the mission.

Hi gents, can anybody simply tell me what to do with soldiers in russian uniforms? I played this mission for a fifth time and nothing reached. I put these soldiers on the bridge, nothing has happend, killed all the russians - nothing, arrow is still standing over the warehouse. Help, I want to go on!

That´s strange because if you killed all russians the mission should be won, because you captured the bridge. The goal was to use the russian uniforms for your soldiers to bring some into the small house direct close to the bridge to avoid that they will destroy the bridge. But you can win also if you forget about this objective and fight your way all into the village and the two bridges. There is no reported bug so far for this mission, so can you explain a little bit more what you did after you have received the objective to use the russian uniforms ?

You have to make the prisoner squads enter the warehouse to carry on with the objectives.

Hi, thanks for help. When I ´ve captured russians POWs, I brougt them to the warehouse beside the bridge. As written, my soldiers wore their uniforms and then I moved them to the village´s southern bridge (they were harrased by Russians, of course, so I ´ve to clean the way with tanks and SPWs. I killed all the Russians in the buildings around the bridge (on the both sides) and tried to occupy all this cleaned buildings, but nothing has happened. In the last attempt I completed both objectives of northern crossroads, cleaned the whole map, occupied intact bridge, but objective arrow still hangs over the warehouse.

Ok, sounds even more strange right now. I can tell you what I did. When I received the objective to use these uniforms I received at the same time the objective to clear the first crossroad in the north. My main forces were at the eastern edge of the map. I forgot about the uniform objective and concentrated all my forces to clear both crossroads in the north. While doing so I received the message that I failed the uniform objective and I had to conquer the southern bridge the old fashion way. After doing so the mission was over and everything was fine. So at least I can recommend to forget the uniform objective and move north. I additionally don’t think that it was the idea of the mapper to fight the way for your Russian Germans, it won’t make sense.

I did this objective other way. I cleared the crossroads to the north as zit did. Then i focused on my russian soldiers to move them in that house with sappers. But before i sen t them in the village suffered from massive bombardment and artillery fire. When they were without any AT or arty i put a smoke on the village. Then i put just one russian squad in my armored transport vehicle and drove them just to the house, then i unloaded them and rushed into the house. Objective completed!!
