Ok people i know that by this time you must be saying"oh no he again" ;Dbut i need to ask you this one,i am playing the last mission in northern campaign and now i am trying to conquer Ponyri vilage (2 objective)my question is am i supose to advance only in the western side of the river and advance all the way to the bridge in order to finish this objective or i need to clean those houses in eastern side of the river.

Yes, you need to advance only on the western side of the river. The Ponyri Objective will complete once you clear all the Russian defenders from around the ford. Then you need to advance down towards the bridge and try and capture it.
Once you have done this your main strike force will arrive. ;D

Once again i am left without words guys,i am playing this mission for 2 days and i am not near the end.How are maps scripted is just pure joy and plesure to play.

Uff, after "The Rush to Ponyri" is this mission something. At the last mission i was clearly advanced in my opinion, but now, just to get the first objective, i decided to concentrate all my units in the western part of this small village, but to bring the units from the eastern side to the western was something due to heavy artillery activities. And this counter attack on the east , my poor Marder and AT guns . I now captured the western part of the village and advanced with the Stug42 to the eastern part were alle the russian defenders retreated, funny. Then i had luck because i have send them without Infantry down the railroad to attack the artillery position there and i was successfull, the enemy was surprised and retreated there also. What a great game, but is it correct, that i haven´t had Pioniers and Air support so far ?? Greets Zit |

You need to progress down the western side of the river. Once you have cleared Ponyri your reinforcements will arrive.

Hm, but the first objective arrow is far more in the north to capture the small village with the furt before the russians can react on my attack.
And there is no air support and no Pioniers are available so far.

Yep capture the village. Once that objective is completed you should get the objective to capture Ponyri and thus proceed down the western side of the river (If you follow the rail-road you will run into stiffening Russian resistance with no reinforcements).
Reinforcements and Air Support will arrive once you clear the village of Shirokoe.
