Wow Wow Wow Did I say wow 3 times? I got to tell the whole world about this game. The Map first of all is about the most amazing work I have seen yet. The German Kursk uniforms oh my G** I almost had an orgasm. The Stug looked way better in this Version much more detail. The new animations such as the men sitting in their right spot as if in real life. The Camo netting, when you fly reconnoiter over, you just see the net but when you get an infant team over to it you see the equipment in the net. WOW This is probably going to keep Blitzkrieg going? I now know that if Adrian’s team can get these extras into the game. I believe he can fix the net code issue. Sync-outs and cache problems and ping issues. If even the smoothness of the way the demo played is any hint at what these guys can do I hope some one will fix the MP side for real battles with the Kursk mod.

Well it would be betar if after they finish kursk they start with new project maybe Operation Typhon ,Kharkov 1942 or 43 but first let we get our hand on this master piece .

"My boys" have taken a heck of a beating so far! If the rest of the maps are like this-and I know they probably are or harder-we are in for one heck of a ride! ;D I still have the industrial area and the town left to take. Thank goodness for a steady stream of reinforcements.

Thank goodness for a steady stream of reinforcements. That's funny. I actually did much better than normal on this mission . I felt the predictable nature of the well prepared defences & minefields made a slow but steady approach relatively straight forward. Lost my Wespe to counter battery , made the ack ack bit of a nuisance until the ridges fell. Mortar battery was invaluable. Didn't move an inch until pre-empting all those obvious tank trap ridges. Pop smoke, out with the mine clearers & diversionary grenadiers (beefed up with halftracks, scoutcars & flammpanzer), Tigers & panzers close behind in support. Encircle / capture / mop up. Used the captured trenches for diversionary grenadiers. That effectively nullified enemy mortars while pressing on and locating them & remaining ack ack with Luftwaffe. Werfers then "took care of it" . T-34:s are now easy prey for the new 75 & 88 mm guns. Brummars made short work of buildings & positions in town / industrial area. So did the Werfers. I suppose it's a credit to the creators that I did so well first time out on this one, everything just fell into place nicely . The new sounds were very refreshing also .
