My game takes about 30 min to load, about 15 min to save, and runs real slow (sometimes) when playing. Most times, about 40 minutes into playing, the computer will completely die, a total turn-off and then it restarts. I am %1000 sure it's barbarossa doing it. I have most other things turned off, it's a pentium 4, so I just don't know what i've done wrong or what. I would appreciate any hints or whatnot--- I've invested a ton of time into the game already. THanks, Chris

Thats some serious problems there!
Can you confirm how much RAM you have and also video card for starters. Also are you playing Barbarossa through Blitzkrieg or one of the other official Expansion games (BH or RT).

I am playing off of burning horizons ---- I wasn't sure if the barbarossa download from the disk took, so I did it like four times, I don't know if that might be the problem.
I will check at home tonight, and try to get you the RAM and video card-- I might need you to show me where to look, as my computer literacy is kinda low!
Also, on a side note: my stepson has like 20 saves on the blitzkrieg game, and I told him that eats up a lot of memory, to try to keep the # of saves down, my question is--- how do you delete certain saved games off of blitzkrieg, BH, RT, and barbarossa? Thanks for your help. Chris D.

I would not think that Barbarossa would cause the issues you are having at the moment. It may well higlight anything that maybe going wrong with your PC such as faulty memory, but should not cause slow loading, saving and un-explained crashes.
Loading Barbarossa 4 times will not cause an issue and the numerous saves will just take space on your hard drive. To delete them your need to navigate to the following directory:
Blitzkrieg Burning Horizons/Run/Saves
and
Blitzkrieg Burning Horizons/Run/Mods/Mission Barbarossa/Saves
Just delete any save games you don't want.
Most new PC's these days come with 256MB. This is barely adequate to run Windows XP and any half decent video game. Thus minimum requirement is 512MB. To check this go to your Control Panel and select "System". The pop up window should then tell you your CPU and how much RAM you have.
