When playing the historical maps the following format will be in use: The player will get a description and Briefing plus a picture of each historical mission. The briefing will cover an overall tactical situation. Such as the Strategic importance of the operation, what enemy forces are expected (this can change obviously) and the main tactical objectives that need to be completed to achieve the mission. Once the game starts you will have just the briefing to go on, but in most cases the first objective will be revealed soon after commencing the map. Any further objectives will only be revealed under the following circumstances: 1) You have achieved the current objective 2) You have approach an area of the map that has revealed fresh enemy forces and thus changes the tactical situation. 3) The Enemy launches a surprise attack causing a change in the tactical situation. 4) Any other reason I can think of to keep you on your toes . This approach minimises the linear feeling to the original maps and adds a certain element of doubt in any plan you as a player have devised. Also bear in mind objectives can and will change each time you play some maps Adrian

well that all sounds like a good refreshing change to me. that was what i expected from vanilla blitz after playing the demo, but was disappointed by the objective structure in the full game.
