This topic was raised on the main CDV board and also by Wolfgang on the Nival forum. Warper from Nival has stated that the developers of Stalingrad actually bought BK license and did the nessecary changes to the source code. Nival had no hand in it and will thus not replicate for the orginial game. forums.nival.com/eng/showthread.php?t=27041 Adrian

What a farce this is turning out to be, and with so much going for the game blitz to.
OSTFront is the best way around the originals problems I feel.
Unless you had the License, there is no way of moveing on, as In my opinion, the ranges in the original are far to short, and after playing OSTFront you can see the diff more clearly.
I tried to play Blitz original, and found it totally wanting, since playing OSTFront.
I hope others find this to, will help you no-end.

No doubt received my copy in the mail today and I got to say this is the way it should have been released in the first place much more realistic, Now if we can get Adrian to hard code the fix on the buildings and we just get the update that would be nice. ;D

Glad your copy arrived safely. ;D
Hmm. if I had the resources it would be a possibility. Anyway, we know it can be done now.

I really feel that the Ost Front team should stride to fix this problem.
It's gamey and unrealistic. Among other things it brings the fun factor down.
