The Future of ACTive Gaming

ACTive Gaming have been experiencing finiancial difficulties due to the non-payment of royalty fees from CDV Software Entertainment AG. We have not received payment from CDV since July last year and although we have threatened legal action on numerous occasions CDV have failed to respond. CDV have also failed to respond to requests to remove all notice of Mission Barbarossa and Mission Kursk from their websites and forums and to stop all retail of these products.

Please note the above only refers to CDV Software Entertainment AG and NOT CDV in America which is a solely owned company.

Essentially this means ACTive Gaming have had no revenue for over a year. Although all the 3D models for its next project have already been acquired no resource has been available to complete mission design and testing. Coupled with domestic issues over the last few months means that all work on "Project Overlord" will be put on hold until further notice.

Personally I would like to see work continue later this year and will keep you all informed if this is the case.

Finally I would like to thank all our customers for their continued support and for buying our last two games.

Adrian, I wish all the problems for activegaming will be solved in a near future, so we, Barbarossa and Kursk players, can play Normandy in a near future.

Sorry to hear you're being screwed by CDV.

Yet another reason to dump their ill suited game engine.

Your work deserves a much better one.

You'd be stupid to cling on to it now, it's waaay past primetime anyways. In all sorts of ways.

'Well', Glad the cat is now out of the bag, but hope that all will be well soon.

By that I mean that we can continue with the Over Lord project.

As for CDV,'well', will leave to Adrian(ActiveGameing) to take action or not, but would like the latter.

Action speaks louder than words lol, but not knowing the surcumstances proper,I hope it gets resolved.
