The game crashes to desktop every time as I go getting near the little village right down the map. I have installed the NO EXPLOSION PAK for planes, but still goes on crashing. Any help, please?

The small village is Syrtsev right?
What objectives are currently showing this far in the mission?
We never got a report of a crash at this stage of the mission before so if you still have a save and can send it to us, we'll look into it.

Instead of attacking the small village from left to right, I've gone around it and my attack has been fron right to the left. This way the game has not crashed. But when I get near the two points to go through the river the game keeps on hunging.

My PC crashed yesterday while playing KURSK. I am installing XP again. Tomorrow monday I'll send my save position. I have two. One atacking from left to right, and one approaching to the two objectives for crossiong the river. Excuse my mistakes in english language. Thank you.

What size is the save game file? If it is over 5MB you will probably have problems attaching it to most e-mails. Are you using WinRaR to zip the file?
Can you also tell us what specification your machine is and also some more details on the crashes. Do these just crash the game reverting you back to the Windows desktop or do they shut your whole system down?
Also do you have any other mod files loaded into your Run/data directory?

I use WinRAR, and the savegame is 7 MB. I have also installed HEIMATFRONT MOD, but I can uninstall it.

Sorry, I forgot my PC specifications
P4 2,6 1 GB RAM
HDD 120 GB SATA
HDD 160 GB SATA
At this moment, runing with ATI RADEON 9600 128 MB, because of the crash, the previous FX5700LE is not recognized by XP, and I have put my older video card.

Hmm, I will check out the HEIMATFRONT MOD and report back, but if this MOD installs to the Bltizkrieg\Run\Data directory that could well be the route of your problems.
