Okay, done some tests today and it looks like if you assign the parameter "2" jsut to the hull MG then both machine guns will fire on the move as well as teh gun and the correct Attack info shows. Which is the hull MG in the .XML file? The one below the 88'?

For the up and coming patch it would be nice to fix the problem with the sdkfz251_stummel as it lack the commands to use it's mortar. The sdkfz251_2 has the correct commands for it's mortar use.

Hi California,
I will answer those last three queries together.
1) The Hull MG is the one above the "88".
2) The Sd251 "Stummel" is armed with a short 75/24 gun which is a direct fire weapon so does not function as a mortar.
3) Yes, both the Sd 251/10 and the Sd 250/10 have the main gun showing as 60/1000. This is because they are classified as "automobiles" instead of "tanks". Thus a false reading is given here. This is a compromise otherwise if they were classified as "tanks" any infantry they carried would not gain armoured protection and would be killed by small arms fire.

Thanks for clearing that up. The "Stummel Howitzer" in the text file threw me off. And sorry for the quadruple post ;D

Me again ;D
You guys(the creators of "Mission Kursk") if i recall correctly said that you used kamui's "WW2 Encyclopedia" to base unit information on so i took a gander at this Encyclopedia. I found a minor inconstancy with 75mmKwK42 L/70, it seems under powered.
I think you were using the 1000 m table with APCR rounds for the weapons value. This assumption is based upon the 88mm KW36 L/56 Which is 159mm penetration at 1000 m. in the game it is 156mm so i did some rough calculations. The panther gun should have penetration of around 170
Another thing ;D ;D ;D
Paz_IV_Au sf_H and Paz_IV_Au sf_Hs have the "weight"parameter of 1 and the the other Panzer IVs have the "weight" parameter of 2500 is that a mistake or is there something to this???

The Panther ratings are based on the APC rounds while the Tiger guns are based on APCR. The argument behind this is that the Tigers as specialist assault units are more likley to to have been equiped with the more effective APCR rounds than the newly introduced Panther units.
Yes, the weight parameter for the new Panzer IV models are wrong so will get these changed for 1.4. However, this parameter is only used for towing (tanks can't be towed) and crossing bridges, which is also not applicable.

You cannot tow a tank in BK.
What Adrian means is that the weight parameter is only used for towing and crossing bridges. Towing only applies to guns/howitzers/etc. If a gun has a very high weight parameter, then it cannot be pulled by one of the light trucks.
Furthermore, some of the units have high weight parameters that keep them from being able to cross damaged bridges. As I recall, the Maus cannot cross the damaged bridge in the last German historical mission in BK1.
