The Kursk Demo is now available for Download. www.activegaming.orgThe Kursk Demo Mission which guide you through tactics and strategies that you will need to survive the up and coming Kursk Campaign Add-On for Blitzkrieg. Featuring realistic game play, new 3D units, sounds and textures that will give players a whole new 'Blitzkrieg' experience. The Demo is compatible with the original Blitzkrieg game and Burning Horizons, but not Rolling Thunder (as you are unable to set Texture Quality). Just make sure you download the Demo to your Mods folder: ............Blitzkrieg\Run\Mods\Kursk Demo\Data Once installed you will need to select the Kursk Demo Mod through the Options=>Load Mods menu and then select the Kursk Introduction Map through Custom Games. Make sure you have your Texture Quality Setting at High. Enjoy! Adrian

I have heard if you have the patched version of Rolling Thunder you can set the Texture Quality to High. If this is the case the Kursk Demo will be compatible.

Well I've completed the mission after two hours of play and I am amazed, this is without doubt the greatest mod created for Blitzkrieg, everything about this game is excellent. The off-screen artilery is ace and the stuka's are brilliant. On top of that the mission was perfectly designed and was probably the most fun mission I've played since originally playing Blitzkrieg for the first time. Well done! You've definately got my money! ;D

Yep i agree with you mike ,this is just great ,master piece in one word you just lose touch with time while you are playing it just like the times i was playing Blitzkrieg for first time.

What's with the Brummbars? Why is there no button for suppressive fire etc. ?

Because they are direct fire only. In reality these vehicles were used as close in support to demolish bunkers and other fortifications. They did not engage in long range artillery fire, thus they have no suppressive fire button.

Hey Wolf-what I did was go into the mods file and made a new folder called Kursk Demo, then inside that made a new folder called data before I loaded the mod. Then changed the location in the mod before loading to C:\program files\nival interactive\blitzkrieg\run\mods\Kursk Demo\data and it worked fine. Hope you have the same good luck-you will enjoy this map.

yes for some reason the installer doesnt work right it forgets the blitzkrieg game is like this when installed. I.E. ( F:\program files\Nival Interactive\blitzkrieg\run\mods\Kursk Demo )
I had done this but still didnt work so I just installed then copy the mod over to the folder.
