Hi,
I bought kursk and barbossa from you around christmas time. Just recently, ive started playing them. Kursk is good, i really like the new sounds, much better than the crappy ones from bk1. I've even copied the sounds folder from Kursk, and placed it in the bk1 data folder, most sounds work on bk1. The stuka dive bombing sound (my fav) doesnt though. Havent played barbossa yet, but i have it all updated and ready to go.
Anyway, im having a problem. Im finding Kursk pretty hard, well the first mission is as far as i have got. Now, i want to keep my units alive so i can upgrade them. ( i presume its still like bk1 where you can upgrade units/getting higher ranks so your tanks shoot better?) I chose the north mission, now i have no problem clearing the mines etc, the thing i dont like is having to sneak around with my sniper and take out all the anti tank guns and mortars, this can take hours. Now, i know this is what it was like so really i cant complain, but is there any way i can do this abit quicker? Plus, my saved game has twice now become corrupt, after i have cleared most of the tank guns along my chosen path, meaning i have to start from scratch. I dont know if i can face doing it a 3rd or 4th time  .
